Should I go with the i3 2100 with an HD 6870, or the i5 2400 with an HD 6850?

I'm gonna be gaming at 1366 x 768, games like BF3, Deus Ex, Crysis 1 and 2, etc. I've gotten 3 opinions, but I want more opinions lol, possibly benchmarks. I still can't get over the dual core part of the i3 2100..Should I go with the i3 2100 with an HD 6870, or the i5 2400 with an HD 6850?

Most games don't utilize more than 2 cores (including all the ones you mentioned) so you'll be fine with the i3.
But still get the 6850 and use the extra $$$ to get a better monitor, at least 1680x1050 but preferably 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 if you can find an affordable one.
The reason I say this is because 1366x768 is tiny. If you stick with that monitor even the 6850 would be a waste of money because lesser DX11 cards can easily handle any game at ultra settings at that resolution. So if you keep that monitor then get the 6770, anything more would be absolutely pointless.Should I go with the i3 2100 with an HD 6870, or the i5 2400 with an HD 6850?
